17-year old, Senaida Ng, is a singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City, won multiple national and international music competitions, and was one of the 15 finalists in the Markham Star Search 2017. She is the founder of the Youth Showcase Concert Series in Downtown Markham, an annual summer music festival that promotes local musicians under the age of 25. She is not confined by any genre, writing and performing pop, acoustic, classical, jazz, funk, R&B, indie rock, and electronic music. She released her first single, “Tee Shirt”, in January 2019 on all streaming platforms. She is currently working on her debut EP which is set to be released later this year.
She began drinking bubble tea at the age of 4 or 5 and she has visited over 60 different bubble tea shops in her lifetime including tasting bubble tea in Taiwan, Singapore, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Japan and New York. She loves trying new bubble tea and isn't afraid of trying new and innovative drinks. Her palette is diverse and broad, and she tries to judge bubble tea based on what the general public likes.
