Toronto-born, SENAIDA, is a classically-trained pianist, singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City, won multiple national and international music competitions, and has performed at venues including Nathan Phillips Square, Indie Week, nookFest, the Burdock, Toronto Centre for the Arts, and Koerner Hall. She is the founder of the Youth Showcase Concert Series in Downtown Markham, an annual summer music festival that promotes local musicians under the age of 25. She is not confined by any genre, writing and performing indie pop, alternative, classical, jazz, and electronic music. She has released three singles and is currently working on her debut EP, “First Love” which is set to be released in July 2020. Senaida is currently studying at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University.
She began drinking bubble tea at the age of 4 or 5 and she has visited over 60 different bubble tea shops in her lifetime including tasting bubble tea in Taiwan, Singapore, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Japan and New York. She loves trying new bubble tea and isn't afraid of trying new and innovative drinks. Her palette is diverse and broad, and she tries to judge bubble tea based on what the general public likes.
